We should also probably update it to 1.0.4 or even 1.1.2 now that it is marked
as the new stable according to http://hadoop.apache.org/releases.html.
If we go with 1.2 as well, we should probably get this committed and have a
separate ticket to update the hadoop examples (mapreduce and pig) to have
alternate versions using the new cql3 classes.)
