Uncommenting lines
#MAX_HEAP_SIZE="4G"
#HEAP_NEWSIZE="800M"
in /etc/cassandra/cassandra-env.sh makes it run.
This solution seems to be not right, the actual problem looks like parsing of
localized output of system utilities during environment discovery.
