Mikhail Mazursky created CASSANDRA-6393:
-------------------------------------------

             Summary: Invalid metadata for IN ? queries
                 Key: CASSANDRA-6393
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-6393
             Project: Cassandra
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Core
         Environment: Java Driver 2.0.0-rc1
            Reporter: Mikhail Mazursky
            Priority: Minor
         Attachments: column_def_debug.png

I tried to use the following CQL query:
DELETE FROM table WHERE id IN ?

using Java driver like this:
prepStatement.setList("id", idsAsList);

but got the following exception:
{noformat}
 java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: id is not a column defined in this metadata
    at
com.datastax.driver.core.ColumnDefinitions.getAllIdx(ColumnDefinitions.java:273)
    at com.datastax.driver.core.BoundStatement.setList(BoundStatement.java:840)
{noformat}

Debugger shows that Cassandra sends "in(id)" in metadata. Is this correct?
