While at it, we should also make sure to document the type casts (since it's
mostly UDF that makes them useful).
I'll note that while we should definitively resolve this before 3.0, it might
be worth waiting a few weeks for the syntax/details on UDF to settle down
(thinks like CASSANDRA-7813 for instance) to avoid wasting efforts.

Yes, that would be consistent with what we've done so far.
