There is an indication that deserialization memory leak described here -
CAY-1668 may be fixed in the new commons-collections version. Also velocity
1.6.3 that we are using itself depends on commons-collections 3.2.1, so when
importing Cayenne in a project, Maven often would switch to commons-collections
3.2.1 anyways.
