To test if plugin is acticve try this:
run eclipse with "-debug -console - consloeLog" parameters
this opens command window with osgi> prompt
enter command
"ss cayenne"
if plugins are installed you see print like:
nnn ACTIVE (RESOLVED, INSTALLED) org.apache.cayenne.modeler...

where nnn is number of bundle in osgi
if status is'nt ACTIVE try command
"diag nnn"
where nnn is bundle number and you can see why bundle can't be ACTIVE
(unresolved dependencies)
