Ah ok. I understand the behavior now. If a DataNode is selected on a tree
during DataMap addition, it is autolinked. This happens when clicking the a
button in the menu as well. This was a bit confusing, but I guess we can leave
it as it is for now. So # 1 is the only real issue.
