+We're thrilled to announce that Anton Kurochkin (GitHub ID: @woblerr) has
joined Apache Cloudberry as our newest committer! 🎉

+Over the past several months, Anton has been an active and impactful
contributor to the Cloudberry community, with a particular focus on the
`cloudberry-backup` project and related Go-based tooling. His contributions
span a wide range of areas — from roadmap discussions and code improvements to
project modernization and community collaboration.

+Some highlights of Anton's contributions include:
+
+- Engaging deeply in the `cloudberry-backup` roadmap discussions, sharing
practical operational experience and helping shape the project's direction.
+- Contributing `gpbackman`, a CLI tool for managing gpbackup backups more
conveniently.
+- Contributing `gpbackup_exporter`, a Prometheus exporter that collects
metrics from `gpbackup_history.db`.
+- Modernizing the Go development infrastructure, including upgrading the Go
toolchain from 1.21 to 1.24, updating golangci-lint, and refactoring deprecated
syntax and usages across the project.

+Anton's work has meaningfully strengthened Cloudberry's backup ecosystem and
Go tooling capabilities. His combination of technical depth, practical
