@leborchuk I pushed four commits on top of your branch to keep REL_2_STABLE's
source release passing Apache RAT once this PR is merged:
1. **RAT: exclude the docs of the pax_storage submodules** (from #2058) —
`caa1710ff65` replaced the blanket `**/*.md` exclude, which left 36
Markdown
files in the googletest, googlebench and tabulate submodules uncovered.
2. **RAT: exclude the SQL scripts and expected output of yezzey** (new,
REL_2_STABLE only) — the same commit replaced the blanket `**/*.sql` and
`**/*.out` excludes with targeted ones written against main, which has no
yezzey. That left 9 files of the yezzey submodule uncovered.
3. **CI: check out submodules in the RAT workflow** (from #2058) — the
release
tarball includes submodules, but CI audited a checkout without them,
which is
why neither problem showed up in CI.
4. **Doc: fix Greenplum wording in README** (from #2057, marked
`Backpatch-through: REL_2_STABLE`).
With these, RAT on a clean export of this branch with all submodules reports
0 unapproved files (it was 45 before). Since some PRs to main are still not
merged, so cherry-pick them here.
