@tschacara you could increase the value of 'wait' from 1800 to a higher value. It is used as wait multiplied by 2 hence 3600. It is also worth checking whether you need to tune your infrastructure to back up the snapshot faster. I am assuming that the create snapshot worked fine but the timeout is during the backup snapshot operation.
