@DaanHoogland, I think it's not a regression; the issue is present in previous versions also and is specific to vmware hypervisor I am not sure in which version of CloudStack, the UEFI setting was introduced and why the check (exception) message is working for UEFI. Ideally, if the vmware template has "Read Instance settings from OVA” enabled we should not allow any new additional template settings as discussed in #12459 cc @weizhouapache -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
