Sebb updated COMDEV-158:
------------------------
    Description:
Some of the scripts require Python3 and some require Python2

I think some may work with either, but this can be tricky to maintain.

Python3 has been out for quite a while now, and is generally better.
In particular, I/O is more easily controllable - no spurious spaces or newline
chars!

For ease of maintenance, perhaps now is the time to drop support for Python2

Note this may mean changes to crontab entries, and CGI scripts need careful
handling to ensure they run with the correct python version
