Maraket commented on issue #347: getPicture() returns empty filePath when file from SD Card selected URL: https://github.com/apache/cordova-plugin-camera/issues/347#issuecomment-428016724 A suggestion would be to include / merge with https://github.com/hiddentao/cordova-plugin-filepath/blob/master/src/android/FilePath.java which seems to get the path necessary. There was a pull request which would default to the URI using too string (pull 198 i think), but using the logic from the plugin would likely be a more complete solution
