Mike Beckerle closed DAFFODIL-1462.
-----------------------------------
Resolution: Won't Fix
We would inherit this from the ICU library. Unless they do it, we wouldn't
bother I think.
> dfdl:calendarPattern "I" (capital i) for ISO format pattern character
> ---------------------------------------------------------------------
>
> Key: DAFFODIL-1462
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DAFFODIL-1462
> Project: Daffodil
> Issue Type: New Feature
> Components: Back End, DFDL Language, Front End
> Affects Versions: 1.0.0
> Reporter: Mike Beckerle
> Priority: Minor
>
> This feature, the 'I' for ISO specifier, is not implemented in the ICU
> library we use for the other aspects of calendar patterns.
> Before we implement this, we should see if adding this is on the ICU library
> roadmap. ICU is open source. It might be better for us to implement it there,
> and contribute back to ICU than implement it in Daffodil's code.
> Similarly for the textNumberPattern P, V, and @ characters. (See DFDL-853)
