In your explanation above is a closing tag a tag with either "</" or "/>" or
do just mean '>'? I think of
"\<xs:sequence\>" as an opening tag and
"\</xs:sequence\>" as a closing tag
"\<sequence someattribute=somevalue /\>" as an opening tag ('<') and a
closing tag "(/>)".
