MSI files are not reproducible due an embedded GUID and two timestamps. There
does not seem to be an easy way to change things. This makes reproducible build
verification difficult, currently making use of the msidiff tool. From what I
can tell, there is no way in Wix to configure these fields.
I have opened ticket with wix to propose a feature to do this here:

If the issues is not resolved or there are plans to resolve it, we may want to
consider Wix alternatives, or potentially add some kindof post processing step
to the MSI file that might be able to modify these fields, addition
investigation is needed to determine if that's actually possible.
