Tested current version of main on W11. I'm seeing that the `java` window opens when opening the data editor is opened via command pallet and closes when the data editor is closed <img width="1662" height="984" alt="Image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/49f23427-53bc-4ee1-a793-c01fdb621e8d"; /> <img width="1292" height="854" alt="Image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/de378206-30ae-44b2-bb1b-690d7980bad0"; /> I did find something. If you open up two data editor windows with two different files open. <img width="1556" height="1026" alt="Image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/a072a63c-cf75-48e6-8b80-6845c04949fd"; /> and then you close one of the DE windows <img width="1472" height="943" alt="Image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/93f7efe1-6ba9-4864-973a-bc76608a2eec"; /> The `java` window closes. If you try to do any edits to the remaining DE window, the edits don't affect anything.
