One note so the check list is not misread: all six workflows (`unit-test`, `test-e2e`, `check-Apache-license-header`, `NOTICE-year-check`, `check-grafana-dashboards`, `migration-script-lint`) are sitting at `action_required` and have not executed, so nothing here has been verified by CI yet. Could a committer approve the run? Locally: `go build` and `gofmt` clean, and the six new tests pass, with the two data-loss cases failing on `main` as described above.
