In the new version, the Resource Center no longer interacts with the database; instead, it communicates directly with the underlying resource storage, making performance theoretically uncontrollable. If the client's network connection is poor and the interaction between DsApiServer and the underlying storage resources (e.g., HDFS) is slow, API timeouts can occur. Of course, APIs such as file upload or viewing file content are more likely to experience timeouts.
