I agree that the built-in workflow instance retention and cleanup feature is very practical. As mentioned in the thread, this would be particularly beneficial for micro-batch scenarios where historical instances consume significant disk space and slow down page queries. While I understand the concerns regarding the extent of the changes required, the performance improvements and storage optimization for high-frequency workflows seem to offer significant value. I am interested to hear how others feel we might balance the implementation effort with these operational benefits.
