kangpinghuang opened a new issue #1988: the row_block in reader can be optimized by using return_columns instead of seek_columns URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-doris/issues/1988 Now the schema of row_block in reader and column_data is inited as seek_columns, which is the super set of return_columns. But the extra columns in seek_columns are useless. So it can be optimized to use return_columns to save memory space.
