Background Our development efforts have primarily focused on the 2.0.x branch, and it is now time to align the master branch accordingly. This involves merging the existing 2.0.x branch into master. Rationalization The primary purpose of the hadoop-shade components in the 1.0.x branch was to support Doris 1.2.x. However, with the release of Doris 2.0 and its associated advancements, we are transitioning to a more stable 2.x version of shade*. Implications Master Branch Alignment: Merging the 2.0.x branch into master will streamline our development workflow and ensure that master reflects our current development focus. Deprecation of 1.x Branch Development: We will no longer actively develop new features or enhancements for the 1.x branch.
