### What problem does this PR solve?
Hive Metastore (HMS) is designed to expose its metadata through a
Thrift-based RPC interface, which is the standard and recommended way to access
HMS from external systems such as Spark, Flink, Presto, or custom clients.
JDBC, on the other hand, is designed for SQL query execution via HiveServer2
and does not provide low-level metadata operations (e.g., getTable,
getPartitions, etc.).
Since our system only interacts with the metastore for metadata (not for
running SQL queries), using JDBC is not only unnecessary but also incompatible
with our requirements. Furthermore, JDBC support was never officially
documented, nor used in production.
