Closing this PR in favor of a new one targeting `master` branch per maintainer request. The original PR targeted `branch-4.0`, but upon changing the base branch to `master`, GitHub reported conflicts in unrelated BE files due to branch divergence between `branch-4.0` and `master`. **Resolution:** Rebased the fix cleanly onto `master` in a new branch. All FE changes cherry-picked without conflicts. **New PR:** Will be created shortly with the same fix targeting `apache:master` **Changes remain identical:** - Core fix in Database.java, Util.java, FeNameFormat.java, ShowTableStatusCommand.java - Unit tests (243 lines) - Regression tests (3 test files: 2 SQL scenarios + 1 comprehensive Groovy suite) - Fixes #57773 -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
