### What problem does this PR solve?
The raw pointer return type of check_and_get_column made it easy to use
downcast results without an explicit check, which weakens the intended safety
around column type probing.
This PR makes the four base check_and_get_column overloads return
ColumnPtrGuard, adds get() for explicit raw pointer forwarding, keeps
check_and_get_column_ptr unchanged, and updates BE and BE UT call sites to
unwrap the guard explicitly.
