FreeOnePlus opened a new pull request, #178:
URL: https://github.com/apache/doris-mcp-server/pull/178

   ## Summary

   - add the read-only `doris_search` domain with four progressively disclosed
children:
     `search_data`, `preview_text_analysis`, `inspect_search_indexes`, and
     `diagnose_search_query`
   - add Doris-version-aware Search capability probes with independent
route-aware connections and target-specific index validation
   - support bounded text, vector, and hybrid retrieval without exposing a raw
Search DSL through the structured child
   - keep identifiers, filters, result fields, vectors, and result sizes under
explicit allowlists and bounds while binding caller-controlled values
through
     the database driver
   - separate configured/planned Search evidence from actual runtime index-hit
     evidence in diagnostics
   - update `CHANGELOG.md` for the Search domain, safety boundaries, capability
classification, analysis-term redaction, and hybrid parameter ordering

   ## Compatibility

   - preserves text-search fallback when ANN functions are unavailable
   - reports missing Doris Search functions as unsupported capability evidence
   - keeps target-dependent features callable in degraded mode so each request
can
revalidate the actual table and index
   - does not create analyzers, indexes, tables, or other database objects

   ## Validation

   - full test suite: `1625 passed, 75 skipped`
   - total coverage: `64.92%`
   - Search runtime coverage: `80%`
   - domain coverage gates:
     - protocol: `90.34%`
     - authentication: `81.53%`
     - core managers: `85.29%`
   - focused Search and domain contracts: `266 passed`
   - Search runtime unit contracts: `14 passed`
   - SQL sink audit: `21 passed`
   - real Doris `4.0.5rc1` HTTP and stdio Search integration: `2 passed`
   - `uv lock --check`
   - Ruff
   - Mypy
   - Bandit
   - package build and clean-wheel smoke test

   ## Evidence boundary

`EXPLAIN` may prove that Doris planned an ANN route, but it is not treated as
proof of an actual inverted-index hit. Actual runtime hit evidence remains
   profile-dependent.
