URL: https://github.com/apache/doris-mcp-server/issues/233
DomainDispatcher builds a bare `ToolSchemaGuard()` when it compiles the
child output schemas, so the guard's instance limits stay at the library
defaults (1 MiB, 10,000 nodes, 256 KiB per string) regardless of
`PerformanceConfig.max_result_bytes`. With a larger configured ceiling, a query
result the runtime has already bounded gets refused one step later as
`CHILD_RESULT_INVALID` ("Child result did not match the declared schema"), and
the message does not say whether it was a size limit or a real schema mismatch.
Even at the default 1 MiB ceiling a result near the ceiling cannot fit a 1 MiB
instance budget once the envelope is added.
Repro: configure `max_result_bytes` above 1 MiB, run a query returning
~6,000 small rows or one long string cell; the runtime returns it, the guard
refuses it.
Fix in the linked PR: derive the guard from the ceiling, let callers pass
explicit limits, and put the validator's reason in `details.reason`.
