Switching documentation to Japanese currently translates the global navigation as well. Keep the global navigation in English while Japanese document content and document controls remain localized. Remove the Japanese overrides for navbar labels, dropdowns, mobile navigation, theme controls, and AI loading/error messages so Docusaurus uses the existing English defaults. Japanese documentation links retain their locale prefix. ## Versions - [x] dev - [x] 4.x - [x] 3.x - [x] 2.1 or older (not covered by version/language sync gate) The shared navigation applies to every documentation version. ## Languages - [ ] Chinese - [ ] English - [x] Japanese Only Japanese navigation overrides change. English defaults, Chinese translations, documentation content, routes, and other Japanese translations remain unchanged, so no counterpart updates are needed. ## Validation - Passed all 8 tests in `locale-registry.test.cjs` and `doc-navigation.test.cjs`. - Rendered `NavbarNext` and `BrandThemeSwitcher` with Docusaurus Translate; confirmed English desktop/mobile menus, accessibility labels, AI status text, and Japanese documentation links. - Confirmed that only 36 navigation-related overrides were removed and every other Japanese translation matches master. - `git diff --check` passed. Full website build was not run. ## Docs Checklist - [x] Checked by AI - [ ] Test Cases Built - [x] Updated required version and language counterparts, or explained why not - [x] If only one language changed, confirmed whether source/translation counterparts need sync -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
