/review Re-check both P2 findings after the lifecycle fix. Pay particular attention to unpublishing mappings before controller detachment, original-name identity checks and rollback for custom/fallback controller publication across rename, catalog-monitor acquisition outside the manager lock, nonblocking manager-lock acquisition and snapshot revalidation, and the 13 latch/lock-contention unit cases.
