The Kubernetes FDB installation currently mixes floating upstream CRDs, legacy controller YAML and older image examples. Users also lack an explicit resource budget and can mistake Pod Running or early availability for completed deployment. This change points English and Chinese current/4.x/3.x instructions to one immutable Doris Operator installation bundle. It documents SelectDB/VeloDB mirrors, controller versus database resources, single/double profiles, total requests/PVC capacity, unified Monitor RBAC and volume permissions, and separate availability/full-replication/reconciliation checks. MetaService client compatibility is explicit, with an amd64 FDB 7.1 option for older builds rather than assuming every Doris build supports the 7.3 example. The cluster quickstart links to the canonical installation procedure; MetaService pages explain compatibility and shared-FDB retention. Existing broken links from adjacent FE/compute-group/MS pages to the cluster-configuration heading are corrected. Page paths, sidebars and archived documentation are unchanged. Depends on https://github.com/apache/doris-operator/pull/534. Installation links pin operator commit `9e8feacc6518a4d6d254a42998355a4d58cbd820`; merge the Operator assets before publishing these instructions. Validation: - Changed-scope link lint: no errors; fixed-commit download URLs fetched and matched against the Operator assets. - Changed-scope feature and EN/ZH synchronization lint: no findings. - Compiled all 24 changed Markdown files using the site's detected `.md` format; checked shell block syntax and `git diff --check`. - SEO lint: no errors; warnings remain for existing duplicate titles/description lengths in neighboring pages. - Paired Operator profiles were schema-checked and their resource totals recomputed. No Kubernetes resources were changed. Full site build, fresh-cluster deployment, workload sizing and failure injection were not performed. Review checkpoints: - Goal and scope: one reproducible installation path with explicit resource/compatibility limits; no claim of production certification. - Information architecture: EN/ZH active versions updated together, legacy/archive sources retained; no routing/sidebar changes. - Links and anchors: ConfigMap anchor standardized and related local links verified; external asset links are immutable. - Frontend/build changes: not applicable; no UI/configuration/build code changes. - Remaining validation risk: the v2.35.0/7.3.69 combination and low-memory development preset still require actual deployment/workload validation before production guidance is finalized. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
