pdeva commented on issue #6171: hetrogenous peon configurations URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-druid/issues/6171#issuecomment-412717321 >I think it wouldn't be so large unless you're querying on only realtime data which is totally not an appropriate use case for Druid. this is a very normal use case. for example for performance monitoring you are typically firing alerts on last 1-5 mins of data which is always in realtime nodes. and for firing alerts, you need to do *tons* of queries on realtime data every single minute.
