I'm wondering what the version of your Hadoop cluster is. If you're using 2.9, then S3A should work with hadoop-client and hadoop-aws of 2.9 without touching any conflicting libraries. I've tested it in https://github.com/apache/incubator-druid/pull/5382. Note that I set `mapreduce.job.classloader = true`. If it doesn't work, it's probably a bug or something. Would you tell me more details (especially error messages or stack traces)?
