This sounds good to me, and agree with @gianm that it is good that it helps focus on improving things inside the segment rather than relying on external compression. It also avoids a scenario where if someone was using V10 segments for any reason, but not setting the zip config, that deciding later that they want to use virtual storage with partial loads is tedious to achieve. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
