QiuMM edited a comment on issue #6292: OpentsdbEmitter fails sending tags whose value contains ":" URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-druid/issues/6292#issuecomment-418164932 This seems to say that metric and tag names cannot contain a colon not the actual values. And I have not experienced this bug, it works fine in my Druid and Opentsdb.
