gianm edited a comment on issue #7953: Exact distinct-COUNT with complex expression (CASE, IN) throws NullPointerException URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-druid/issues/7953#issuecomment-508865771 The problem doesn't seem to be due to our CaseFilteredAggregateRule, since the NPE still gets thrown when the query is rewritten to use proper FILTER clauses (as in https://github.com/apache/incubator-druid/issues/7953#issuecomment-508864855). I even removed CaseFilteredAggregateRule from the rule set used by the test cases, for good measure, and still got it. Although would it be a good idea to exclude `SqlKind.GROUP_ID` and `SqlKind.GROUPING` anyway?
