jihoonson opened a new pull request #9385: Enable druid.coordinator.kill.pendingSegments.on by default URL: https://github.com/apache/druid/pull/9385 ### Description `druid.coordinator.kill.pendingSegments.on` is to clean up stale entries in the `pendingSegments` table in the metadata store. This is pretty useful when you use the streaming ingestion because all append tasks need to allocate pending segments which can become slow as the `pendingSegments` table grows.
