Druid already supports `SASL_SSL` related parameters. One has to tweak this [Kafka Emitter](https://druid.apache.org/docs/latest/development/extensions-contrib/kafka-emitter.html) config parameter: `druid.emitter.kafka.producer.config` For example: ```sh druid.emitter.kafka.producer.config={"request.timeout.ms": {{ timeout_ms }}, "batch.size": {{ batch_size }}, "sasl.mechanism": "PLAIN", "security.protocol": "SASL_PLAINTEXT", "sasl.jaas.config": "org.apache.kafka.common.security.plain.PlainLoginModule required username=\\"{{ username }}\\" password=\\"{{ password }}\\";"} ``` Tested on Druid: v0.20.2 -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
