FYI to folks who have contributed to this tree in the past year: @jwitko, @asdf2014, @zemin-piao, @jaegwonseo, @abhishekagarwal87. The linked thread has some details about why this tree hasn't been included in a release yet and why I'm proposing it be removed now. The IP clearance process can be difficult and time-consuming to navigate, and this tree has so far been a casualty of that. Perhaps one of you would be interested in pursuing that (or helping determine that it isn't necessary) which would enable us to re-add the tree.
