Apparently you are trying to **truncate** on _rich_ format level using _rich.width_. First - `overflow: 'truncate'` needs to be under _axisLabel_, since there is no API for _rich.overflow_. Second - _rich.width_ is not ignored, but affects (replaces? nullifies?) _axisLabel.width_. That is a gray area which should be addressed by the developers in the API.
