+# Apache Felix Web Console
+
+The Apache Felix Web Console is a powerful tool to inspect and manage OSGi
framework instances using your favourite Web Browser. The console is extensible
via plugins.

+As the Web Console is a web application, it requires some APIs and services to
be availble.

+The required dependencies are:

+- OSGi Http Servlet WHiteboard : This includes support for the Jakarta Servlet

+- SLF4j Logging API 1.7 (or higher)
+- OWASP Encoder 1.2 (or higher)
+- [Apache Felix

+The web console includes some plugins which will be enabled if additional
dependencies are satisfied:

+- OSGi Log Service : A plugin to show the logging output
+- OSGi Configuration Admin Service and OSGi Metatype Service : The
Configuration Admin and Metatype services are used to support simple form based
configuration administration
+
+## Installation
+
+The installation of the web console is straight forward. Provide an OSGi
Framework with the mentioned required dependenices and install the bundle.
