This fails to build just because it's now missing `javax.annotation.Generated`... it probably was a transitive dependency before that was automatically added by the previous generation of this plugin and now no longer is? Although that's quite surprising, because the classpath of the Gradle plugin and the runtime should be separate... but whatever. It should be trivial to fix this by just adding the right dependency explicitly.
