The same issue was encountered with Flink CDC 3.4.0. It tends to occur when large tables exhibit bad backpressure. Furthermore, data loss problems are sometimes observed after a restart; the situation I encountered was that the target database had more data than the source database, mainly because delete data events were not successfully applied.
