Thanks for raising this issue. I think CST is not a standard or reliable timezone name. Velox has a number of these timezone cases that diverge from Spark. And I noticed even Spark discourages short name due to the ambiguity (See [link](https://github.com/apache/spark/blob/316a3cc80120ceb917fc6245c6b6735dd1fb6261/sql/catalyst/src/main/scala/org/apache/spark/sql/internal/SQLConf.scala#L4254)).
