   `DELTA_DIR` is accepted as a positional argument and is used for `git init 
-q "$DELTA_DIR"` / subsequent `cp` and `sed` operations, but the script never 
validates that it’s non-empty and not a dangerous value (e.g. `""`, `/`, `.`, 
`..`). Since this script is intended to be runnable via `workflow_dispatch` 
(user-supplied args), a bad `delta_dir` can cause the script to operate in an 
unintended directory (including the current working dir). Add an explicit 
safety check (and ideally require the directory to be absent or empty) before 
cloning.
