@kevinwilfong I just noticed that `spark.gluten.sql.columnar.backend.velox.nativeUDF.bypassRegistration` is set to true in the VeloxUdfSuite https://github.com/apache/gluten/pull/13016/changes#diff-d9975134a0dc9087aa3eee344c51ae0d0f004799bd6772d839e9f5c82717c068R334-R335 So the default `false` setting is not tested now. Can you help to separate the test cases into two suites for both settings? Besides, have you tried the test VeloxUdfSuiteCluster with this configuration?
