malinjawi opened a new pull request, #13252:
URL: https://github.com/apache/gluten/pull/13252

   ## What changes are proposed in this pull request?

   Drops 55 entries from
`.github/workflows/util/delta-spark-ut/known-failures.txt` that pass on main
since #13198. Deletions only.

   #13198 binds a `GetStructField` chain's root attribute by exprId. In a Delta
MERGE the join exposes the target and source struct under the same name, so the
old by-name binding read the source struct through the target's field order,
and 54 schema-evolution MERGE tests (`MergeIntoNestedStruct*Evolution*`,
`MergeIntoNestedMapStructEvolutionNullness*`,
`MergeIntoSchemaEvolutionBaseNewColumn*`) wrote reordered or extended nested
fields positionally. The 55th, `PartitionLikeDataSkippingColumnMappingSuite`'s
COALESCE case in id mode, flipped on the same runs.

   #13198 changed only `gluten-substrait` and `backends-*/src/test` files,
which are outside the `delta_spark_ut` paths filter, so the gate did not run on
it. Since then every Delta run fails on these entries as now-passing, with zero
regressions:

   - scheduled run on main:
https://github.com/apache/gluten/actions/runs/38206815112 (8/8 shards, 0
regressions)
   - Velox bump #13249:
https://github.com/apache/gluten/actions/runs/38205101488
   - an unrelated PR: https://github.com/apache/gluten/actions/runs/38236375554

The deleted lines are exactly the union of those runs' "Now-passing" lists,
identical across all three. The file stays C-locale sorted.

   ## How was this patch tested?

This PR touches the baseline, so `delta_spark_ut` runs on it; with
`fail_on_fixed` it passes only if the list matches what the suite actually does.

   ## Was this patch authored or co-authored using generative AI tooling?
