Review Comment:
   Keeping the explicit whole-file range. `uint64_t::max()` is the default
length in Velox's `HiveConnectorSplit`, split builder, and `RowReaderOptions`;
the reader uses a saturating range limit. These fixtures start at zero and do
not test split-size metrics. Omitting this proto3 field would instead yield
zero, which `parseScanSplitInfo()` forwards unchanged. Also, the
conversion-only `/unused.parquet` fixtures intentionally have no on-disk file
to measure.
