After some offline discussions, we have decided to temporarily defer the support for JDBC views. The current design presents a challenge: JDBC dialect views cannot be fully leveraged by our provided engine connectors (Spark, Flink, Trino), which limits their utility in the current architecture. I apologize for the delay in reaching this conclusion. For now, we are going to postpone JDBC catalog view-related work until we have a clearer understanding of real-world user requirements and can define more concrete, high-value use cases for this integration.
