Review Comment:
   Agreed -- a wire-level change should not live only in a pull request 
description.
   `docs/lakehouse-generic-catalog.md` gains a "Dropping a table that does not 
exist" section under
   Table Management, stating the old and new responses, who is affected (a 
client treating a repeated
   DELETE as an error), and why the new one is the right direction.
