roryqi opened a new pull request, #13745:
URL: https://github.com/apache/gravitino/pull/13745

   ### What changes were proposed in this pull request?

   - Remove the invalid HTTP `CLOSE /` request from the Python client's
`HTTPClient.close()`.
   - Add a regression test verifying that closing the client only closes the
authentication data provider.
   - Document explicitly closing Python clients in `finally` blocks.

   ### Why are the changes needed?

   The Python client sends an unsupported `CLOSE /` request when closing. The
server rejects the request, causing `close()` to raise `UnknownError` before
the authentication data provider is closed.

   Fix: #13744

   ### Does this PR introduce _any_ user-facing change?

   Yes. `GravitinoClient.close()` and `GravitinoAdminClient.close()` no longer
send a request to the server. They now release local authentication resources
without failing because of an unsupported HTTP method.

   ### How was this patch tested?

   ```bash
   python -m unittest discover -s tests/unittests
   pylint ./gravitino ./tests ./scripts
   ```

   All 1181 unit tests passed, Pylint reported 10.00/10, and Black reported no
changes.
